Maelezo ya Kozi
This course examines the theological, historical, and strategic aspects of Christian mission among Muslim communities in Africa. It focuses on equipping students with a biblically grounded, theologically Reformed, and contextually informed understanding of how to engage Islam faithfully and effectively in African settings.
Students will analyze key theological differences between Christianity and Islam, such as views on God, revelation, salvation, sin, and the person of Jesus Christ. The course emphasizes respectful engagement, apologetic clarity, and gospel-centered witness, avoiding both hostility and syncretism.
Special attention is given to African case studies from West, East, and North Africa, examining both the historical resistance and openness to the gospel.
