Maelezo ya Kozi

This course presents a theological and exegetical study of the Pauline Epistles, focusing on the thirteen letters traditionally attributed to the Apostle Paul. The course emphasizes Paul's central role in articulating key doctrines of the Christian faith—such as justification by faith, union with Christ, sanctification, and the Church as the body of Christ—while maintaining a consistent Reformed theological framework.

Students will explore the historical context, literary structure, and theological purpose of each letter. The doctrinal unity and pastoral diversity of Paul's letters will be highlighted, particularly his emphasis on sovereign grace, covenant fulfillment in Christ, Christian liberty, the power of the Spirit, and the eschatological hope of believers.

Rather than treating the epistles as separate moral essays, this course presents Paul's letters as unified and Spirit-inspired documents that continue to shape the theology, worship, and mission of the Church today.
