Credit Hour Policy

At Shekinah Theological Seminary (STS), all courses offered within the Certificate and Diploma programs carry a standard weight of 1.5 Credit Hours.

Each course is designed to reflect a balance between classroom instruction, independent study, and practical application, ensuring that students gain both academic knowledge and ministry skills.

A Credit Hour at STS is defined according to internationally recognized academic practice, representing the equivalent of:

15 hrs
of direct classroom instruction per semester

of independent study, assignments & practical ministry

This uniform structure promotes academic consistency, facilitates the transfer of credits for students pursuing further studies, and aligns the Seminary with accrediting standards.
