Maelezo ya Kozi

This foundational course provides a comprehensive introduction to the Christian Bible as the authoritative Word of God. Students will explore the origin, structure, transmission, and overarching message of both the Old and New Testaments. The course covers how the biblical canon was formed, the historical reliability of Scripture, and how the Bible has been preserved and translated through the centuries.

Special attention will be given to the unity of the Bible's message—from Genesis to Revelation—as a redemptive narrative centered on God's covenant with His people and fulfilled in Christ. The relationship between Scripture and divine revelation, inspiration, and inerrancy will be examined, along with an overview of basic interpretive principles (hermeneutics) appropriate for faithful exposition of the biblical text.

This course is designed to equip students who are already engaged in ministry with the tools necessary to handle Scripture with confidence, theological clarity, and pastoral sensitivity.
