Maelezo ya Kozi
This course offers a biblical and theological foundation for Christian leadership, focused on servant leadership as modeled by Christ and taught in the Scriptures. Students will explore leadership identity, calling, character, competencies, and challenges in church and ministry settings. Emphasis is placed on the development of humble, Spirit-led, biblically grounded leaders who prioritize the glory of God, the building up of the church, and the making of disciples.
The course contrasts biblical leadership with worldly models of power and control, addressing common leadership failures such as pride, manipulation, financial corruption, and authoritarianism. It also equips students to lead with integrity, vision, and pastoral sensitivity in their local cultural context, especially in African settings where tribal, political, or hierarchical expectations often shape leadership values.
