Maelezo ya Kozi

This course explores the person and work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer, the church, and the world. Students will examine the Spirit's divinity and personhood within the Trinity, His role in regeneration, sanctification, assurance, illumination, spiritual gifts, and the ongoing ministry of Christ through the Spirit in His people.

From a Reformed perspective, the course will emphasize the Spirit's sovereign work in salvation (Irresistible Grace), the Spirit's role in glorifying Christ, and the relationship between the Spirit and the Word. It will also engage with contemporary challenges such as misuse of spiritual gifts, emotionalism, prosperity teachings, and confusion about the Spirit's guidance in African contexts.
