Maelezo ya Kozi
The Book of Exodus is one of the most significant texts in the Old Testament, central to understanding God's redemptive plan and His covenant relationship with His people. This course provides an in-depth theological and exegetical study of Exodus, tracing its narrative from Israel's bondage in Egypt to the giving of the Law and the establishment of the Tabernacle.
Students will explore the themes of redemption, covenant, law, leadership, worship, and God's presence, with an emphasis on how these themes foreshadow and find fulfillment in Christ. The course draws on a Reformed biblical theology framework, treating Exodus as a foundational document for understanding salvation by grace, divine sovereignty, substitutionary atonement (Passover), and God's holy presence among His covenant people.
Special attention will be given to how Exodus informs Christian ministry today—including spiritual leadership, social justice, deliverance theology, the worship life of the Church, and the ethics of redeemed people.
