Maelezo ya Kozi
This course explores the concept and application of Emotional Intelligence (EI) in pastoral ministry. Emotional Intelligence is the capacity to recognize, understand, manage, and appropriately express emotions—both one's own and those of others. In the context of pastoral leadership, EI is essential for building healthy relationships, handling conflict, leading teams, preaching with empathy, counseling wisely, and fostering emotionally safe church environments.
Rooted in biblical anthropology and pastoral theology, the course presents a framework for understanding human emotions as part of God's design. Jesus Christ serves as the ultimate model of emotionally intelligent leadership—demonstrating compassion, self-control, discernment, and relational wisdom.
This course addresses topics such as managing ministry stress, emotional triggers in leadership, handling criticism, maintaining spiritual health, and modeling emotional maturity in both public and private life.
