Maelezo ya Kozi
This course provides a biblical, theological, and historical study of Christian worship and liturgy, grounded in the Reformed tradition. It examines the nature, purpose, elements, and order of worship as prescribed by Scripture and practiced throughout Church history.
Key topics include the regulative principle of worship, the Lord's Day, corporate and private worship, the role of Scripture, prayer, sacraments, music, preaching, and congregational participation. The course also explores the development of liturgical forms from the early Church to the Reformation and into contemporary settings.
Contemporary issues such as contextualization, cultural expression, and digital worship will be critically assessed through a biblical lens.
