Effective Teaching and Learning in the Church
Maelezo ya Kozi
This course explores the theology, principles, and methods of teaching and learning within the context of the local church. Grounded in Scripture and informed by Reformed theology, it equips students to faithfully communicate God's Word and cultivate environments where biblical truth is both taught clearly and received effectively.
Students will examine the biblical foundations of teaching, the model of Christ as the Master Teacher, and the role of the Holy Spirit in illumination and transformation. Topics include lesson planning, learning styles, age-appropriate instruction, discipleship frameworks, teacher development, and evaluation of learning outcomes.
The course challenges students to view teaching not merely as the transmission of information but as the shepherding of souls.
