Maelezo ya Kozi
This course provides a historical survey of the expansion of Christianity from the apostolic era to the modern age, with a special focus on the theology and strategy of missions. It traces the movement of the gospel from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth, highlighting key figures, missionary movements, geographic expansions, and the theological motivations behind Christian mission efforts across different eras.
Grounded in a Reformed theological framework, the course emphasizes the sovereignty of God in mission, the centrality of the gospel, and the necessity of biblical methods. It also examines the challenges of contextualization, colonialism, and syncretism, and evaluates past and present efforts with theological discernment and missional wisdom.
