Maelezo ya Kozi

This course provides theological, developmental, and practical training for ministering to youth and children within the local church, rooted in a Reformed understanding of covenant, discipleship, and spiritual formation. The course affirms that children and youth are not marginal to the Church but vital members of the covenant community.

The course begins by laying a biblical and theological foundation for ministry to the next generation, focusing on the covenant promises of God to believers and their children. Developmental stages (early childhood through adolescence) will be considered, with a view to teaching and discipling in age-appropriate and spiritually meaningful ways.

Contemporary challenges—such as digital influence, moral relativism, peer pressure, family breakdown, and identity confusion—will be addressed from a gospel-centered and Reformed pastoral perspective.
