This course introduces students to the principles and practices of academic writing within the field of theology. It equips learners with the essential skills needed to research, write, and present theological ideas in a clear, coherent, and academically rigorous manner.

The course emphasizes the relationship between theological content and academic form, showing how careful writing reflects theological clarity, integrity, and reverence for truth. Students will be guided through the process of writing theological essays, book reviews, sermon outlines, and research papers.

Other key topics include developing a thesis statement, outlining, drafting, revising, using theological vocabulary properly, and avoiding plagiarism. Writing is presented not merely as a technical skill, but as a means of discipleship and service to the Church and academy.
