Maelezo ya Kozi
This course provides a theological, strategic, and practical study of the Cell Group Based Church (CGBC) model, focusing on its biblical foundations, organizational structure, and ministry effectiveness within a Reformed ecclesiological framework.
Students will examine how the early Church in Acts (2:42–47) provides a model of community-based discipleship and spiritual growth that is reproducible and mission-driven. The course explores the structure and function of cell groups, including leadership development, accountability, integration with the larger church body, and multiplication strategies.
A key feature of the course is a case study on Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea. Students will evaluate its practices, structure, and strategic principles to glean applicable lessons while maintaining theological fidelity to Reformed doctrines.
