Maelezo ya Kozi

This course equips students with biblical, theological, and practical tools for understanding and managing conflict within the church. Rooted in a Reformed understanding of sin, sanctification, and the unity of the body of Christ, the course addresses the causes, dynamics, and resolutions of conflict.

Students will explore how Scripture calls believers to pursue peace, exercise forgiveness, uphold justice, and maintain unity. Special attention is given to conflict resolution models drawn from Scripture, church history, and contemporary pastoral practices. The course also addresses cultural patterns of conflict in African settings.

Practical case studies, role-playing, and theological reflection will help students gain wisdom and skill in handling church disputes over doctrine, personality, power, finance, or ministry direction.
